The following photos depict the paint spill that occured moments after placing the the two purchased gallon sized white paint cans inside the trunk of the car (at the Yonkers Lowes Parking Lot) on Monday April 20th, 2020. This collection is a timeline from discovery of paint spill to the cleanup process that lasted days.

 


Monday April 20th, 2020 (at 2:22pm) before beginning clean up. Note the 2 inches of paint floating in the gulley of this hatchback mini cooper.

Monday April 20th, 2020 (at 2:30pm) beginning clean up.

 

Monday April 20th, 2020 (at 2:40pm). The painstaking process began by removing everything that was in trunk and soaking up paint with towels.

 

Monday April 20th, 2020 (at 2:49pm). The process then turned to washing with soap and warm water as seen here.

 

 

Monday April 20th, 2020 (at 4:30pm). The process continues with more potent cleaning products.

 

 

 

 

 

Monday April 28th, 2020. This is the current state of interior. White Paint Haze still on seat edges, on back of seats, on carpeting.
